What is the infrastructure requirement to set up SharePoint Farm?

Hardware requirements are determined by the number of users and the intensity of use. SharePoint Farm is basically set up in a 3-server structure.

1) Database Server: It is the server where SQL Server databases will be located.

2) Application Server: It is the server where SharePoint services will run. Applications can be deployed to several servers as needed. For example, services such as search service, workflows, office web applications can be run on different servers.

3) Web Front End: It is the server where the web site that the users are connected to is published and provides traffic control.
